Drew here, what can I do for you?
My story up to this point is very simple.
I graduated from SAIT's Radio Television and Broadcast News program in Spring 2020.
I currently work at The Camera Store as their primary videographer and editor, while doing freelance live production and esports casting on the side of course.
Working full time and freelance means my day-to-day can change at a moment's notice.
Some days will be spent entirely in front of the computer; others times I do not get home until 2 AM. I've worked in various video environments from film sets, small tv studios, and live events. Frankly, I love it.
I seem to be happiest when I am thrown into the thick of things, and working in video production has suited that perfectly.
My primary interest right now is live video production.
I got my first taste of live television production at DreamHack Canada's Canadian Esports Championship in Montreal 2019 and by shadowing Calgary Flames games at the Scotiabank Saddledome during my time at SAIT. I am currently looking for opportunities to break into the live television production industry ever since.
That said, I fully understand opportunities come knocking, so if you have any questions or need help with anything, my inbox is always open.
